Title: Predicting Cross Modulation Performance Post by pkelleher on Mar 31st, 2004, 5:55am I have a question about cross modulation. I understand, based on some reading, that cross modulation is a form of third order intermodulation distortion. I am reviewing several specifications for cross modulation and would like to convert these specs into a design parameter for the receiver. Does anyone know how I can calculate the amount of cross modulation expected in dBc as a function of the input power of the interferer, interferer modulation (mod index?), and input IP3 of the receiver (or any other parameters I may have mssed)? Thanks |
