Title: Designer's Guide Community moves
Post by Ken Kundert on Mar 9th, 2005, 11:34am

As of March 1, 2005 the Designer's Guide world has grown with the addition of Designer's Guide Consulting. After many years, Ken Kundert and Henry Chang have left Cadence to form a small high-value consulting firm that specializes in helping companies involved in analog, RF, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. They provide consulting that accelerates design and verification through improved simulation, modeling, and design methodology (top-down design and reuse); applying their deep technical knowledge of EDA along with their knowledge of design to "bridge the gap between design and EDA ."

Since Designer's Guide Consulting is a commercial enterprise, albeit a small one, it replaces this site at www.designers-guide.com. And this site, being a non-commercial community site, moves to www.designers-guide.org. This may affect your ability to search the site for at least a few weeks. At the same time, The Designer's Guide Community site is physically moving from a server in a garage connected to the internet through DSL to a professionally managed server that connects to the internet through a 2.4 Gb/s backbone. Both uptime and response time should improve. However, during the transition some problems may occur. Please report these to webmaster@designers-guide.org.

The addition of Designer's Guide Consulting will not diminish the effort that goes into building and improving The Designer's Guide Community. This site will continue to offer increasing amounts of useful information about simulation and design to analog, RF, and mixed-signal designers at no cost.

Enjoy,
-Ken
