Title: Plot the CV curve using the spectre Post by kim57 on Feb 1st, 2007, 5:19am hi all, I use the spectre to simulate some capacitor, i need to plot the capacitance vs the supply voltage. it's there anywhere for me to do so?? please help me if anyone know how to do that.. thanks |
Title: Re: Plot the CV curve using the spectre Post by Geoffrey_Coram on Feb 2nd, 2007, 5:29am Spectre allows you to do an ac sweep at a fixed frequency; do spectre -h ac and look at the "freq" parameter. Set it to 1/(2*pi) and put a voltage source with ac magnitude 1 on the capacitor. The imaginary part of the current is now exactly equal to the capacitance. |
