Title: Laser-Metal-Fuses
Post by Berti on Feb 25th, 2009, 4:55am

Dear all,

I have studied the following post:
http://www.designers-guide.org/Forum/YaBB.pl?num=1215137612/4#4

However, for the technology I am using the given off-resistance of a (metal-)laser-fuse is very high (>1MΩ). I am wondering if I the off-resistance might be much lower (due to e.g. splattered metal)? I also wonder how much distance I should keep between fuse and circuit (e.g. vt-shift due to heat from laser?).
Does anybody has experience?

Regards
