Title: Plot dBm power from oscillator output node
Post by DoYouLinux on Nov 20th, 2009, 2:08am

Hi all,

I just have a little question. I have an oscillator with a buffer driving a 50 ohm load. Does anyone know how to plot a dBm power across this 50 load ??

Thanks a lot in advance,

DYL  ;)

What on earth is your question ?

Simply plot power based on a definition of dBm.
It is very easy in any EDA Tool although I don't know what EDA Tool you use.

Arguments of dBm() function in Agilent Post Processing Environment are voltage and load impedance.
While argument of dBm() function in Cadence Post Processing Environment is power.
