Hi,

There are tons of papers on bang-bang CDR PLL's acquisition range. Which ones are worth reading most and explain the locking range best?

BTW, typically you will have a FD with a BB CDR because the latter will not have enough range. Especially true if you have an LCPLL based CDR since the PLL will have a large spread.
