Title: Self-calibrating Comparator in SAR ADC
Post by vm511 on Aug 25th, 2020, 4:10pm

Hi
I'm trying to design a SAR ADC with a Low-noise Miyahara Comparator. I'm doing bottom-plate sampling and the comparator input is connected to the DAC.
For the comparator, I'm using the self-calibration technique, from this paper by Miyahara:
https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/4708780

I'm a little confused on how to choose the VCM in the Miyahara comparator in this kind of calibration.
Thanks!
