Settling time for a fully differential opamp
Dec 14th, 2003, 9:35pm

Hi, I have a fully differential folded cascode opamp using a resistor feedback CMFB. How do I measure the settling time with a 10pF load? Thanks

You can use the test bench described in "A test bench for differential circuits" at www.designers-guide.com/Analysis.

To measure the settling time of a CMFB circuit, you would place it in context, with load and all, and use the test bench to drive it with a common mode pulse, and then measure the time for it to settle to the desired degree.
