[question] Spectre simulation
Mar 09th, 2004, 1:37am

What's wrong  with my simulation?

For exmaple:

Model----ideal-opamp.scs ideal-opamp.va

input command ----- spectre ideal-opamp.scs

spectre compeles with 0 errors,0 warnings, and 0 notice

generate one dir-ideal-opamp.raw,it contains two files
freqResp.ac  and logFile

open results browser, select freqResp.ac, I can not see the waveform  in the waveform windows. why?

From within the results browser, once you navigate to the results directory, you must middle click on the mouse and select "Create ROF". This creates the "Run Object File" from the logFile, which describes the results to the results browser. Without it, the results browser does not treat the .ac file as a results file.

If you're using IC50 or later, you might also want to
consider using the new waveform tool "wavescan".

It doesn't (yet) support all analyses, but will read
dc, ac, and transient analyses right now - other analyses
(such as RF analyses) coming soon.

Regards,

Andrew.
