hi there,..

currently i am doing a project using vhdl-ams. my title is A vhdl-ams model of a CCD. Basically i have to design all the function in a ccd for example kodak kai 4020M ccd. i have a some lack of understanding in this field because i just started to learn vhdl.
i have some questions and if u could help me pls post or mail me the solution to rastaguy_99@yahoo.com. they are:
1. how to represent one pixel using vhdl-ams
2. how to trigger a process to a analogue input.

thanks you!!!

regards,

raj

Hello Raj,

1) depends a lot on your level of abstraction and the kind of physical units you want to use. I would try to model the charge accumulated over time in the pixel, but it will be a little tricky (but feasible) to convert it to a voltage at the read-out.

2) use the operation analog_signal'above(threshold)

Hope this helps

Paul
