Problem with divaDRC.rul -- TSMC0.25um
Jan 15th, 2004, 10:37am

I installed TSMC 0.25um technology. Everything seems to work fine except diva DRC. Running DRC, it throws messages as:

error:  No raw graphics layer exists in the tech file: VIAD .

23. viadi = geomOr("VIAD")
error:  No raw graphics layer exists in the tech file: MD .

 24. mdi = geomOr("MD")
error:  No raw graphics layer exists in the tech file: CBD .

 26. cbdi = geomOr("CBD")
-------------
-------------

Please suggest me how to get around this problem.

Thanks
Harry

This means that the Diva rules are inconsistent with the
technology file you're using.

The technology file defines a set of layers, and then the
Diva rule accesses layers by name. If that named layer
doesn't exist in the tech file, then such an error will occur.

You need to use consistent data - make sure that you
got the Diva rules and tech file from the same source, and
that they are consistent versions.

Andrew.
