Computing the gain

Is computing the gain of this circuit, using half circuit analysis is just RL/re?

or I have to consider the effect of the current source.. If I use a resistor or any current mirror as my current source ??

What's the effect on the gain?

This is the simplest diff pair.  gmRl.  Read Gray and Meyer and repent.
