What signal in cables, analog or digital?
Jul 24th, 2007, 8:09am

Hi, I'm designing a transmitter with MIMO capability. I hope to use a separate analog module for RF (maybe also IF), and a digital module for baseband processing. But I'm not sure where to put DACs/ADCs. Digital interface seems to be more reliable, but requires more cables. However, I don't want to put several DACs/ADCs on a single board as they could occupy large areas. Could you pls give me some advice on this?

Thank you!
