2 port Gain measurement
Dec 18th, 2007, 7:37pm

Hi all,

just wondering, when we do NF measurement, the system is calibrated so that the 50 ohm load is de-embedded from the noise measurement. Can the same be done for voltage gain in a simple manner?

thanks,
Aaron

Hi.

A Gain which NF meter shows is transducer gain.
So if you can know both input and output impedance of DUT, you can calculate voltage gain.
