Automation of Eye Aperture Ratio Measurement
May 3rd, 2008, 3:56am

In Eye Pattern, I have to evaluate following two aperture ratios.

Time_Aperture
 =2*abs( indep(TBmax)-indep(TBmin) )
   / ( abs( indep(TAmax)-indep(TAmin) )+abs( indep(TBmax)-indep(TBmin) ) )

Ampl_Aperture
 =2*abs(VBmax-VBmin) / ( abs(VAmax-VAmin)+abs(VBmax-VBmin) )

I do these tasks using Agilent ADS's Data Display with manually placed eight markers.

But each time conditions are changed, I have to re-tune all markers placement.
These tasks are fairly laborious.

I can draw eye pattern using MATLAB and Cadence AWD other than Agilent ADS's Data Display.

Could anyone share me methods for automation of this task using MATLAB ?

Both "eyediagram()" and "commscope.eyediagram" in MATLAB Communications Toolbox are not useful for my purpose.

The following is not useful for my purpose.
