pss pac in eldo ?
May 07th, 2009, 12:33am

Hello,
I would like to know if there is an equivalent to the spectre pss and pac analysis. If nothing exist, how is it possible to simulate the loop gain of a circuit as a pll ... I mean one bloc in the loop cannot be simulate using a single operating point. In my circuit loop "a kind of" duty cycle to current conversion bloc is used. Is it possible to simulate the whole loop with eldo ?
Thank you very much
  have a nice day

Of course, Mentor EldoRF have Small Signal AC Analysis subjected to Master Large Signal Steady State Analysis as same as HB-SS of Agilent RFDE(ADSsim), SSNA of Agilent GoldenGate and PSS/PAC of Cadence Spectre.

In Mentor EldoRF
Master Large Signal Steady State Analysis is
".SST" ; Large Signal Steady State Analysis

  Slave Small Signal Analyses are
     ".SSTAC" ; Steady-State AC Analysis
     ".SSTXF" ; Steady-State TF Analysis
     ".SSTNOISE" ; Steady-State Noise Analysis

Hi,
thank you very much.
Unfortunately, I haven't got eldoRF...to be fair it is thru that pss analysis is included in spectrerf and not spectre.
I suppose I will have to deal without sst or pss analysis
Have a nice day
