CorelDRAW alternative for Linux to draw circuit schematics?
May 26th, 2009, 5:47pm

So i've totally switched from windows to linux on my laptop, and the one software which I'm dying without is CorelDRAW to do figures for publications. Is there a similar software for linux?

Personally, I prefer tgif.

Advantage of tgif, xfig and xcircuit are that they are open-source (file-format open as well). Also check out pstoedit.

Disadvantage: The tools don't provide as many functions/options as CorelDraw.

Cheers
