Mixed-signal verification at Telegent Systems

Mixed Signal Verification Engineer
(full-time position, location: Sunnyvale)

Responsibilities:

   * Systematic functional verification of circuits with both analog and digital components integrated in a system-on-a-chip.
   * Code and automate test bench regressions.
   * Use test coverage tools to evaluate and improve test coverage by generating random and custom test vectors.
   * Develop behavioral models in Verilog-D and Verilog-AMS of analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks.

Requirements:

   * Extensive experience coding test benches in Verilog and scripting for test regression automation.
   * Experience writing makefiles and scripts for compiling Verilog chips and test benches using Cadence ncverilog tools.
   * Strong background in mathematics.
   * Experience with Cadence tools, including Composer-Schematic Editor, ncvlog, and ncelab.
   * Strong communication skills to work with circuit designers on modeling and verifying their blocks and digital calibration algorithms.

Desired:

   * Experience with Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS.
   * Experience writing discrete-time behavioral models using wreal.
   * Understanding of DSP algorithms, such as discrete-time filters and adaptive filters.
   * Understanding of basic analog and mixed-signal circuits, such as amplifier, ADC, frequency synthesizer, automatic gain control.
   * Experience with Matlab/Simulink.

Education & Work Experience

BSEE with 2 years experience or MSEE or equivalent.
