Discrete capacitors for Analog Front End.

Hello All,

I am wondering if anyone know if SMD capacitors are now available in smaller than 0201 sizes. My maximum capacitor is 100nF.  Currently we get capacitors from pF to 220nF in 0201. I am looking for sizes smaller than 0201 for 100nF capacitance.

You mean "0603" size ?

Currently "0402(01005)" sizes are available as mass products.

No. I meant 0201. Currently you can get in 0201 capacitors upto 100nF.

I am looking for smaller footprint for 100nF and lower capacitors.

You mean "Low-Profile" ?

Maybe you mean "EIA" code. However I mean "JIS" code.
JIS "0603" is equivalent to EIA "0201".
JIS "0402" is equivalent to EIA "01005".

JIS "0603" is 0.6mm x 0.3mm
JIS "0402" is 0.4mm x 0.2mm

As mass products,
You can get 0.01uF=10nF for JIS "0402" size.
You can get 0.47uF=470nF for JIS "0603" size.

As engineering sample, you can get 1uF=1000nF for JIS "0603" size.

Yes I meant EIA code.

Does anyone know if we can get EIA code 1005 size capacitors of 68nF at least ?
