Clock Accuracy and Multiplication
Jul 22nd, 2010, 7:51am

Hello:

If I have a 25M oscillator with an accuracy of 1PPM and I feed it into a PLL clock multiplier (x5) to generate an 125M signal, what will be the accuarcy of the 125M signal?

Thanks,
Gavin

assuming the PLL is doing its job properly, it should be 1ppm on 125M.
