Anybody Seen These (Scopes Agilent & Tek)
Jan 15th, 2012, 2:19pm

Hey Everyone -

I am in the market for a new Oscilliscope and
have it down to these two scopes.

Tektronix  MSO 2024

Agilent MSOX 2024A

4 channel, 200MHz BW with 8/16 channel digital logic analyzer built in.

Anyone been hands on with either or both of these scopes?

Looking for some feedvback.

Thanks, Jerry

Hi Jerry,

I don't know those 2 oscilloscopes. Are they new models?

I had been using old models of HP/Agilent/Tek, like HP 54645D. And I don't recall the model of Tek. At that time, Tek scope was not a mixed signal scope. It had not digital input.

Usually HP/Agilent oscilloscope has enough memory depth to store several complete read/write procedures for I2C/SPI bus. And Tek was not good at this.

I find that Agilent MSOX 2024A is of 100kpts max storage. Maybe that is not enough for you. Then you need more expensive MSOX 3014A/24A.

Best Regards,
Yawei

Those are both very new models - My Tek 2465 needs a newer and smaller companion.
