How to define the gain of charge sampling amplifier?
Oct 16th, 2012, 1:41am

Hello,

I have a serious problem of gain definition of charge sampling amplifier. The input for charge sampling amplifier is current, the output is voltage, but the output voltage is an integration of the input current. So I am really confused with the definition of gain for charge sampling amplifier.

Anybody has experience of charge sampling amplifier, please help me.

My aim is to calculate the input referred noise of charge sampling amplifier. I get the output referred noise, but I need to calculate the input referred noise by hand. If I cannot be sure with the gain definition, then I am stucked now.

   Thanks.

   Jacki.
