how to write .do file for batch simulation in ADVance MS
Oct 10th, 2013, 2:32am

Hello All,
I am using MentorGraphics ADVance MS simulator for my VHDL-AMS code simulation. In the simulator, there are two simulation options: Batch simulation or Interactive simulation. Interactive simulation is quite easy. and I normally use it.
For some C++ programming task, I want to run ADVance MS simulator in batch mode.
my problem is how can i write a .do file for batch simulation ?

ref: I am using the batch simulation command from "Getting started with ADVanceMS" manual, page 5 command
$ vasim -c -cmd [name of .cmd file] [entity_name] [architecture_name] -do [name of .do file]

any guidelines to write .do file ?

thanks in ADVance Smiley

regards,
Milind.
