Y is it easy to store current on capacitors than voltage in inductors

I assume you mean it the other way around......in order to store energy in an inductor's magnetic field, the current would have to be continuously circulating. So you would need a lossless short circuit. Its much easier to make a low-loss open circuit...

One Word: Resistance.

For perfect energy storage, A capacitor needs infinite parallel resistance and an inductor needs zero series resistance.
