A Voltage Variable Resistor in ADS

I dont know why but every time I try to something simple in ADS that I can do in LTspice in seconds it takes me hours of frustration and in this case I was unable to figure it out at all..

All I want to do is create a simple linear equation based f(x) resistor whose resistance varies according to the voltage x at another wire label (or port) and run it in harmonic balance.  

Thanks in advance for help in this.

I got something to work with the following

SDD2P
SDD2P1
I[1,0]=0
I[2,0]=(_v1)/2
C[1]=
Cport[1]=


Well the output of this is still only a current source, I wanted it to be a voltage dependent resistor so back to the drawing board.

Can you use Verilog-A?  (At one time, ADS used to require a separate license to run Verilog-A models; I don't know if this is still the case.)
