how to consider reference voltage's noise impact on adc output?
Dec 24th, 2017, 11:37pm

hi, guys.
in our common sense, it seems like that adc reference noise should be much smaller than 1LSB. but how does reference noise contribute to adc output noise? how to calculate it in a right way?  adc output noise introduced by reference noise should be a convolution of input signal and reference noise in frequency domain?  anybody can explain it ? thanks a lot.

I think the noise from reference voltage should be considered as the rms noise, so use the kT/C analysis at the input of the ADC, not the output.
