While you do not need to register as a member of this forum to read and post messages, there are a few benefits that result from registering. First, you will establish an identity that other people will be able to use to easily get to know you. You can choose your own avatar, which is simply an image that makes it easy for people to recognize you. Second, people will be able to send you messages and get a list of your posts. Lastly, you will be on our mailing list and will be notified of any substantial changes to the web site. Not to worry, we send very few messages to this list. Generally only a few messages a year.
