Title: about cadence manual Post by stone on Apr 6th, 2004, 7:05am I have problems in using cadence. Though I can get help in the cadence software, I want to have a cadence manual before I use the cadence software. Can anyone have a cadence manual? Can anyone help me ? |
Title: Re: about cadence manual Post by Andrew Beckett on Apr 6th, 2004, 10:27am If using IC446 or later, type "cdsdoc". If using IC445 or before, type "openbook". This will start up the documentation system. In cdsdoc it displays the documentation in web pages, although at the top of the pages, there is a link to print the manuals or display in PDF format - these are nicely formatted documents, rather than web pages - so you can print them out. There's an enormous number of manuals, so you'll need to find the one you want - a "cadence manual" is rather vague, since there are many, many different tools that you could be talking about... Title: Re: about cadence manual Post by stone on Apr 6th, 2004, 8:18pm Hi Andrew! Thanks for your help! I want to have a cadence manual about the analog cicuit design. It had better be displayed in PDF format. Can you help me ? Thanks! Stone. |
Title: Re: about cadence manual Post by Andrew Beckett on Apr 7th, 2004, 12:12am Did you actually try running cdsdoc/openbook (depending on the version) and then navigating around the manuals to find a relevant one? In both documentation systems there is a search engine too. It's not hard. Try it before asking... Andrew. |
