Title: How to get a clean clock source for PLL test? Post by ywguo on Jul 1st, 2004, 7:55pm Hello, I am testing a PLL used as frequency synthesizer. It is convenient to use a HP pulse genrator as clock source because I can tune its output easily. But it has very large jitter. Its std deviation is ~200ps, pk-pk jitter is 800ps. Obviously it is too large. Should I use a crystal oscillator? :-[ Or do you know any pulse generator that has a very clean output? Thanks Yawei |
