Title: inductor losses Post by logan on Nov 12th, 2004, 2:04pm Q. is it not abnormal that I get a difference of 9 dB in losses between an ideal inductor and one from the model library ( i am using austriamicrosystems 3 metal cmos 0.35u) thanks |
Title: Re: inductor losses Post by jefkat on Aug 11th, 2005, 5:18am well depnds on >Number of turns >inter filament spacing >Area left in the middle >And o course the freq.. you get the best Q (the minimum loss) for a (/or more) combination(s) of the above factors.. The otherway to check is to read the manual of technology.. hope it helps. Shafkat |
