Title: noise of VCO Post by pppp on May 6th, 2005, 11:20am I am running pnoise on a VCO. Could some one tell me the result is in single-side or double-side means? Thanks a lot. |
Title: Re: noise of VCO Post by pancho_hideboo on May 8th, 2005, 8:28am It is SSB-Phase Noise. Although you can extend a sweep frequency from negative to positive like following, the result is SSB-phase noise pnoise ( Vout 0 ) pnoise sweeptype=relative relharmnum=1 + start=-100 stop=100 step=5 maxsideband=15 iprobe=V0 + refsideband=1 noisetype=sources annotate=status save=allpub + saveallsidebands=yes |
Title: Re: noise of VCO Post by pppp on May 9th, 2005, 12:09pm Thank you very very much. It seems I gained 3dB here since negtive sideband noise is already folded. |
