Title: DC and PSS
Post by uncle_ezra on Jul 26th, 2005, 11:18pm

I encountered a weird problem.  When I ran DC analysis alone the node voltages displays the expected solution, but when I ran PSS and DC analysis together, the node voltages converges to a different solution.  Why does this happen? Does it has anything to do with my circuit?

Thanks

Many circuits have multiple DC solutions. Think of a flip-flop or a latch. But other circuits also have multiple DC solutions, such as bias circuits. Which one you get is sometimes only based on the luck of the draw.
