i have designed a current mode folding amplifier for a folding factor of 8 using .25u technology. now i want to see the step response of this circuit, how do i check?

I guess you should listen to your slogan and read the instructions ;) You find all you need on theory in the textbooks and on the simulation in the users guide... Hint: try a transient simulation.

A paper I wrote for cadence is a decent starting point (given that its getting older) for simulating opamps..
look at www.cadence.com and use the search terms "Functional Verification Opamp"
you should find the white paper on the site..
