Title: sigma-delta modulator simulink model Post by trashbox on Nov 9th, 2005, 1:19am Many sigma-delta modulator's simulink models include some gain blocks, whose gain value may be 0.5/1.0/2.0. How to decide these gain values and how to decide whether the gain block is needed? (suppose the sigma-delat modulator is used in fraction-N phase-locked pll) Thanks very much! |
Title: Re: sigma-delta modulator simulink model Post by chase.ng on Nov 16th, 2005, 12:57am the gains in ur delta sigma adc determine how ur adc going to shape the quantization noise in passband. it is part of the system design. take a look at ken martin's analog integrated circuit design. |
