Title: can cadence spectre recover simulation after break Post by CDR on Nov 15th, 2005, 12:30pm Dear All, If you run a long simulation, say 10us,if you stop at 5us,any way to recover the simulation from 5us? Also is there any way to continue your simulation after you run 10us,but you want to run 12us instead, then you don't have to restart the simualtion for 10us which is very time consuming? THanks, CDR |
Title: Re: can cadence spectre recover simulation after b Post by Andrew Beckett on Nov 16th, 2005, 10:58pm Spectre (since MMSIM60) has the ability to save the state on a regular period, and you can also recover the state for a subsequent simulation. See spectre -h tran and look for the save parameters (e.g. saveperiod, recover). Also on spectre -h where it mentions the -ss and -rec arguments. Regards, Andrew. |
