Title: highly linear vco Post by svensl on Dec 9th, 2005, 1:51am I would like to design a VCO that exhibits an almost-linear relationship between input voltage and output frequency. The more linear the better. I was wondering which architecture (LC, ring oscillator, negative resistance….) would be most suited for such a task? Is there any literature that talks specifically about and compares different structures for linearity? Regards, sven |
Title: Re: highly linear vco Post by ywguo on Dec 20th, 2005, 11:33pm It depends on the requirements for VCO range, phase noise, jitter, power consumption, too. As the linearity, it depends on the specific design. yawei |
