Title: determine absolute max rating value for analog chi Post by chu on Dec 27th, 2005, 10:13pm how to determine the absolute max rating value for analog chip ?? by measuring on physical chip ??? is it partly from the spec for the packaging ? what about other criteria ? thx in advance. |
Title: Re: determine absolute max rating value for analog Post by Geoffrey_Coram on Jan 3rd, 2006, 5:52am Absolute max of what? Voltage? Temperature? Current? Usually, the datasheet for the part lists max values, though I think the manufacturer guarantees the part will not be destroyed (or will work properly) if you don't exceed the absolute max, whereas a particular sample might tolerate even more. |
