Title: Questions about POWER AND VOLTAGE CONVERSION GAIN Post by fab_jor on Feb 9th, 2006, 9:10pm Hi all. What´s the diference between power conversion gain and voltage conversion gain ? I am designing a double balenced mixer, which the RF and LO inputs are matched ( 50 Ω ) but the IF output not. The output impedance is 150 - j210 Ω and I would like to drive a 50 Ω resistance. How I must to proceed for get these results ( power conversion gain and/or voltage conversion gain ). And about the testbench for this task? Thank you very much. P.S.: Sorry for my bad english ! Voltage gain=Power gain+10log(Zo/Zin) IF your fiinal drive impedance is the same as the input impedance, 50ohm, then the two items are the same. |
