Title: How to run the behavioral model in Spectre?
Post by jdlijj2 on Feb 20th, 2006, 6:16pm

Hi, All:
I am a beginner in IC design. The behavioral modeling method proposed in ken's "Predicting the Phase Noise and Jitter of PLL-Based Frequency Synthesizers" made me exciting. Repeating the experiment in his paper could speeds up my learning and makes me familiar with the sim flow.
1  Now I have the simulators, Spectre but not SpectreRF. What I need else?
2  Can I simulate the example in the paper just by using the listing 14,15,16 and 18 in the paper without modification.
3  Where and when and how to use listing 17?
4  How about the detail flow?
Thanks and best regards!
