Title: understanding noise measurment Post by yaniv on Aug 16th, 2006, 9:25am I made a project of controling current by conecting current supply to the drain of transistor, and control the current by changing the Gate voltage. I measured the noise at the output of the current supply and at the output of my circuit. the spectrum measurment show adding 10dB noise by my circuit. how can I explain that additive noise? |
Title: Re: understanding noise measurment Post by loose-electron on Aug 17th, 2006, 11:11am You may want to post a picture or more fully describe what you are doing. It is a little unclear. However, I believe you are seeing an amplification of the noise through a common source amplifier (ergo the current source) hope that helps, Jerry |
