Title: phase noise simulation of a ring oscillator?
Post by oskooei on Aug 22nd, 2006, 6:26am

Dear all

I run spectre Rf to simulate phase noise of a novel ring oscillator. But Pnoise simulator gives positive phase noise for small offset frequencies, like 60 dB for 100Hz. I read frum and there were many replies for this question. I want to know that, the results which Pnoise simulator gives for large offset frequenies, ie. 1MHz, are affected by this large positive phase noise? Are they correct?

Yes.
