Title: Plotting operating points with time Post by rupam on Sep 23rd, 2006, 4:52am Hi all, Any idea how to get the plot of transistor vth versus time from transient analysis ? :-[ Please help. I am in a fix over this Regards, Rupam |
Title: Re: Plotting operating points with time Post by ACWWong on Sep 24th, 2006, 12:19pm if you are using spectre, you can use infotimes to save dc operating point parameters (like vth) at certain times within a transient. try spectre -h tran or look it up in the spectre manual in the installation path. |
Title: Re: Plotting operating points with time Post by John O Donovan on Sep 24th, 2006, 5:18pm Hi, The Spectre "save" statement should be used. "infotimes" is not really suitable for this. save m1:gds r1:pwr The operating point variables will be saved in the rawfile with your regular voltage/currents and can be plotted as usual. John |
Title: Re: Plotting operating points with time Post by ACWWong on Sep 26th, 2006, 4:12am yes the save method is the correct method! if using the ADE GUI it used to be possible to add the statement into the modelfile setup, but now you need to include in a setup->simulation file and access the data via results browser or getData( "I0:vth" ?result "tran-tran"). |
