Title: A question about noise simulation using spectre Post by chip on Jan 24th, 2007, 7:42am When using spectre noise simulation, the option for the output, What is the difference between "Voltage" and "Probe" Thanks a lot. |
Title: Re: A question about noise simulation using spectr Post by Ken Kundert on Jan 24th, 2007, 12:25pm With voltage, you give a pair of nodes and it takes the output to be the voltage between those nodes. With probe you give a component, and Spectre uses the component to determine the output. If you specify a voltage source or iprobe as the probe, it takes the output to be the current through that component. -Ken |
