Title: Vsb-clipping effect Post by 337see733 on Feb 5th, 2007, 8:57pm Dear all, What is purpose of Vsb-clipping in the compact model ? Thanks |
Title: Re: Vsb-clipping effect Post by Geoffrey_Coram on Feb 6th, 2007, 6:38am I think it's difficult to solve for the surface potential in the face of strong forward Vbs. Note in that case the b-s diode is forward-biased and will generally carry significantly more current than the channel, so minor discrepancies in the surface potential and channel current will be hard if not impossible to detect. |
