Hi all,
Can you tell me how I obtain the NF contour for LNA in the space of (Id and W) using the Cadence spectre as attached?

I have never tried this before, but I suggest you try using W as a variable and sweep it in a range ,and you will get different current.

sweeping for fixed NF doesn;t sound quick to do in spectre. It looks like the plot you have is generated from some equations and ploted in something like matlab/mathcad etc.

anyway one (labourious) way to do it in cadence would be to sweep current for fixed W and tabluate NFmin (from an sp sim).

Then step W and do it again.

Then load the data into something like Excel or matlab to give the constant NF contours
