Title: area of 12bit ADC

Does anyone know how big will be a 12bit ADC if using 0.35um process?

I guess it is 1 ~ 2 mm2 depending on the design. You'd better search the IEEE Explorer.  :)

This is enormously dependent on the ADC architecture - whether is it flash, half-flash, sigma-delta, SAR, dual-ramp, etc, etc. Some of these can be pretty enormous, and some can be tiny. It depends...

Andrew.
