Title: What is Device checking option in spectre Post by krishnap on Apr 24th, 2007, 2:24am In the ADE environment, under simulation tab, there is a Device checking tab. What would be the typical use of this option? Regards, Krishna |
Title: Re: What is Device checking option in spectre Post by Andrew Beckett on Apr 30th, 2007, 5:31am It allows you to set up things like "safe operating area" limits on your devices - checking that devices don't exceed a certain current level, for example. Effectively it allows use of spectre's "assert" statement during the simulation. Look at the documentation on that (spectre -h assert) for more details. Andrew. |
