Title: software Post by kamath on Jul 23rd, 2007, 11:23pm i am new to verilog-ams.I have learnt basics of verilog. I have model sim with me,is it posible to run verilog-a in it or should i separately use cadence tools.Which is better. thank you |
Title: Re: software Post by Marq Kole on Jul 23rd, 2007, 11:58pm For Verilog-A you will need an analog simulator: Hspice, Eldo, Spectre, and generally any commercial SPICE-type simulator will do. ModelSim will use only digital Verilog - you will need Eldo respectively AdvanceMS from the same vendor to use Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS. |
Title: Re: software Post by ghad on Aug 13th, 2007, 2:08pm Verilog AMS code runs perfectly on Cadence, so I recommend you to use Cadence! |
Title: Re: software Post by Geoffrey_Coram on Aug 15th, 2007, 9:03am Eldo has a Verilog-A option (you don't need AdvanceMS unless you're really doing Verilog-AMS). ghad: "perfectly" ?? Hah. |
