Title: Zero Bias Peak Detector Post by imett on Sep 11th, 2007, 3:09am Hi to everyone, i've some problems with my first RF circuit, i've to detect the shape of a short impulse (with bandwidth 100MHz-1GHz) an i think to use a zero bias Schottky detector like HSMS 285X. The circuit is really simple, one MMIC (MSA0886) to amplify the signal and after the diode ,one small capacitor and an OPAMP (AD8057 G=+1) to isolate the output. The problem is that with a signal 50mVpp the output of the detected signal is very low , 5mV, for this in my first idea was used two stage MMIC but is not simple design a +50 dbm amplifier. I've make some mistake for have a very small signal output? |
