Title: Quantization noise of SigmaDelta in MMD
Post by Sarig on Nov 2nd, 2007, 9:03am

Hi,
Question:
in Fractional-N design, what is the Quantization noise size of SigmaDelta modulator.
I know its Q(e)(NTF), but what is the size of Q(e)? how is it relate to the size of N (divider ratio)?
It is understood that for N=100 and changing from 100 to 101 Q(e) will be less then placing predivider by 2 and divide by N=50 changing from 50 to 51.

Thanks,
Erez
